We can paint for all ages, from 1 to 115. All we ask is that your child be able to sit still by him/herself for a few moments at a time, and WANT to be painted. We will not paint on a child who is forced to sit still or appears to be afraid. Our belief is that it will create a fear in the child, and as they get older they will associate face painting with negative or scary feelings. Typically children under age 2 will not sit well for face painting, so a small design on the hand or arm may be a better choice.
Omaha Masquerade offers *AMAZING* full face painting and cheek art for your birthday parties, prom parties, family reunions, corporate functions, fundraising events, school or church carnivals or any other type of event you can think up! Our designs range from simple cheek or arm art to full face designs. Not sure what you want? We have awesome face painting ideas for kids to choose from. Omaha Masquerade is NOT just for children's parties! We paint for teenagers and adults, too! We are experienced professionals with talented designs - all at affordable rates!
We use only the best FDA approved cosmetic face paints by Paradise, Kryolan, Wolfe, TAG, FAB, Jest Paint, and Ben Nye. These paints are manufactured by the best cosmetic businesses in the industry, and are used in theatre FX and movies! There are some painters who will only use Snazaroo paints as they are the only paints that are rated toy safe -- but we don't plan to let your kids eat our paints, and they would have to eat several of our professional size pots before or even if you would see a reaction. Snaz paints are great, and we use a few of their colors, but they are not the best when it comes to color stay, nor are they the easiest to work with. All of our paints are just as safe as the cosmetic make-up you have in your bathroom (and are probably made by the same companies!). Our painters adhere to the highest safety, health and hygiene standards in the industry. Omaha Masquerade, LLC face painting is insured!
Our professional artists also offer prenatal belly painting and Henna tattoos in Omaha and Bellevue. See our Belly Painting and Henna tabs under "Services" for photos of our designs.
The corporate face painter was amazing! We had about 100 kids at our event and she painted large designs on practically all of the children in such a short amount of time!

I just wanted to say "WOW"! We were all so impressed with the face paintings. I have used other painters in the past but this was the best I have seen, and it was worth every penny to see the look on my kids faces. Thank you so much-we will be calling again and again!

It is never too early to book your event! Our artists are in high demand, especially in the summer months! We have also been featured in newspapers, radio spots and our large festivals where we see an increase in bookings during publications. You should make your reservation as soon as you know the date/time of your event to ensure that it is available. Weekends book up fast with weddings and bridal/bachelorette/baby showers, and especially around holidays, so don't wait too long.
When you hire our painters, the only thing you need to provide is space! If indoors, a place with good lighting. If outdoors, a shaded area free from pets. (Please note: TREES are not adequate shade sources - please provide a canopy, tent or some other covered area. When the sun moves, so does the shade!) We provide our own table, stools and supplies. Activities for waiting children are strongly recommended. An adult should be supervising waiting children to avoid conflicts in line and help the painter keep things moving smoothly, and to keep little hands out of our paints and supplies in order to keep them sanitary. Our painters will not attempt to resolve conflict unless a danger to the child(ren) exists, at which point overtime charges may apply for the time lost in painting. It works best for everyone involved if only a few children are waiting in line at a time.
